猴交心降臨立法院民主議政園區

創作理念：
洪易以幽默童趣的造型風格，將猴子與最愛的香蕉結合，以台語諧音發音『好交心-ㄏㄡˊㄍㄠ心』加上以形意象，傳達「真心交流、互信合作」的理念，象徵彼此打開心門、誠懇對話。而霧峰議政園區過去作為臺灣省議會所在地，正是地方民意代表集思廣益、公開辯論、凝聚共識的殿堂。與霧峰民主議政園區的歷史定位相互呼應。
〈猴交心〉放置於園區之中，彷彿訴說著議事廳中曾經的交鋒與合作，也提醒人們：民主不是對立，而是溝通；不是鬥爭，而是「交心」。
作品色彩斑斕，融合祥龍、愛心、鳥獸與自然花卉等象徵，隱喻多元聲音的交融與和平共存，亦為園區注入一股溫暖且富希望的視覺能量，引領觀者反思民主不只是制度，更是一種彼此尊重與交心的態度。
透過這件作品，洪易讓民眾在輕鬆觀賞的同時，也重新思考民主的核心價值：理解、包容與對話。藝術成為橋梁，把議政精神從歷史建築中帶入當代生活的感知。

Creative Concept:
With his playful and humorous style, Hung Yi combines the monkey and its beloved banana. In Taiwanese, the wordplay hou-kau-sim sounds like “to have a good heart-to-heart,” symbolizing sincerity, trust, and open dialogue. This echoes the history of Wufeng Assembly Affairs Park, once home to the Taiwan Provincial Assembly, where local representatives debated, exchanged views, and built consensus.
Placed in the Park, Monkey with Banana Heart recalls both the clashes and collaborations of the assembly hall, reminding us that democracy is not about confrontation but communication; not struggle but connection.
The sculpture’s vivid colors and motifs—dragons, hearts, birds, animals, and flowers—suggest diversity, harmony, and coexistence. They infuse the Park with warmth and hope, inspiring reflection that democracy is more than a system; it is an attitude of respect and empathy.
Through this work, Hung Yi invites viewers to enjoy art in a lighthearted way while reconsidering democracy’s core values: understanding, tolerance, and dialogue. Art becomes a bridge, bringing the spirit of governance from historical halls into contemporary life.
